What We Do

The idea of Facing Forward is to encourage people to move beyond the mistakes, hurts, shame and disappointments of their past and progress towards their destiny by looking straight ahead.  Looking at the yesterdays of life will hinder movement towards finding fulfillment and true happiness.  Therefore, it is imperative that we all Face Forward!

Dee Johnson, Founder of Facing Forward,  is a Licensed Mental Health Professional in the State of Texas. She has worked with patients dealing with challenges associated with mental disorders (bipolar, schizophrenia, depression), homelessness and poverty, single parenthood, drug addiction, sexual deviance, family matters, etc.

Mrs. Johnson uses a unique strengths based perspective when working with clients. She encourages clients to make a conscious decision to focus on and use their talents and skills for lasting changes.   Mrs. Johnson is available to work with individuals, groups, ministries and non-profit organizations. She is also available for speaking engagements.
